This video demonstrates a clockwise insertion of the iTrack catheter for canaloplasty. In cases where I perform a canaloplasty in conjunction with a Hydrus stent, I prefer do perform the insertion clockwise. The reason is because sometimes a small goniotomy may be created inadvertently during removal of the catheter. If this happens during a counterclockwise catheter insertion, you may unroof too much TM tissue and prevent placement of a Hydrus catheter.
