Show Description +

Allon Barsam, MD, presents the results of study on the use of Argon Laser-Iridoplasty to improve visual function following multifocal IOL implantation. Even with the best surgical technique, it is possible for the pupil and optic centers to be misaligned which can create visual distortion in multifocal patients. In this technique, an Argon Laser is applied to the mid-periphery of the iris to move the pupil.
