An Anterior Chamber Angle Fixated IOL Exchange for a Crystalens

Show Description +

Steven Siepser, MD, demonstrates the explantation of a PMMA anterior chamber angle fixated lens through a 6 mm scleral tunnel. This is combined with anterior vitrectomy, removal of secondary membranes, lysis of adhesions enabling the sulcus placement of the Crystalens, and correction of high astigmatism.

very nicely done.... did you know about adequate fixation present in sulcus for sulcus IOL preop? and why crytalens...will not benefit just adding cost to patient as 3 piece IOL could have done the purpose?
