AlloFlo Triple Implant Placement

Show Description +

This is a young patient with advanced POAG who had a prior failed trabeculectomy as well as a prior failed tube shunt. Given the conjunctival real estate that had been already utilized, it was decided to use the newly available AlloFlo implants for supraciliary space access. The AlloFlo system can be titrated based on the surgeon's preference and clinical judgment. In this case, given the aggressive disease and the prior surgical failures, three implants were placed in hopes of achieving low and durable pressure control.
