Ahmed FP7 Auto-Explantation

The patient in this video was previously implanted with an Ahmed Glaucoma Valve FP7 (New World Medical) that had completely eroded through the conjunctiva. The patient was referred for urgent removal 2 months after initial placement. The mechanism for erosion was likely due to eye rubbing during the early phases of healing.
