"CrystaLenSx" Case

Show Description +

A. John Kanellopoulos, MD, presents a femto-assisted cataract extraction with Crystalens HD IOL implantation in a post LASIK 55-year-old patient. He walks through the preoperative testing and femtosecond laser incision planning. The cataract is surprisingly hard for a younger patient but the femto nuclear fragmentation is able to prechop it. After the Crystalens lens is placed a mattress suture is placed to close the main incision. The second eye is operated on with a manual technique.
