Femtosecond Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery Using Brody Femtosecond Dissecting Cannula

Show Description +

This is a femtosecond laser cataract surgery with LenSx and a toric IOL using a novel device to open the incisions. The Brody Femtosecond Dissecting Cannula is a disposable stainless steel cannula designed by Jason S. Brody, MD, and manufactured by Accutome. The innovative design allows for smooth and easy opening of laser incisions, while the cannula function facilitates instantaneous injection of lidocaine and/or viscoelastic. The result is increased efficiency, reduced operating time, and fewer hand-offs between the surgeon and the surgical assistant.
