UC3 is a new non-invasive treatment for treating glaucoma. This procedure is performed with a device called EyeOP1, composed of a control module and a therapy probe. The treatment takes about 2 minutes and is ambulatory. About 1,000 patients have been treated so far in Europe since 2010. The device is CE marked, but not yet FDA approved.
