A 16-year-old male wearing glasses was struck in the eye with a cricket ball. He sustained a vertical linear corneal tear possibly due to the shards from the broken eyeglasses. Several months after the corneal tear was repaired, the patient developed a cataract and presented for cataract extraction and implantation with an AcrySof Toric IOL (SN6AT6-T9).
