Tube shunt implantation was not the best option in this open-angle glaucoma patient due to risk of penetrating keratoplasty graft failure. Through a 1.6mm clear corneal incision Steven Vold, MD, performs a minimally invasive procedure utilizing the Trabectome (NeoMedix, Tustin, California) to remove a portion of Schlemm's canal and trabecular meshwork.

I am amazed how clear your view of the angle was through the corneal graft. I am curious how successful was your IOP reduction?
