Repeat OMNI Goniotomy and Canaloplasty

Show Description +

Gagan Sawhney, MD, demonstrates use of the OMNI Surgical System (Sight Sciences) in the eye of a patient who previously underwent 180° goniotomy and canaloplasty, and returned with a visually significant cataract, prompting a combined phacoemulsification procedure with repeat OMNI goniotomy and canaloplasty for the remaining 180° of trabecular meshwork. Notably, there is no closure or scarring observed at the prior goniotomy site. The video illustrates the treatment of the remaining 180° and provides guidance on bypassing obstructions in Schlemm canal.
