iStent Rescue and Proper Repositioning

Show Description +

This is a case where an iStent has been dropped and is sitting at the root of the iris with the sharp end pointing at the ciliary body. It is gently retrieved with an MST Ahmed Micrograsper which is then switched to the left hand and used to present the iStent to be reloaded in it's inserter held in the right hand. The case is completed by uneventful placement of the iStent into Schlemm's canal as originally intended.
