This is a patient with a fibrosed Acrysof lens placed 18 months earlier who requires a lens exchange for glare and positive dysphotopsia. The haptics are well fibrosed into the bag and aggressive haptic stripping techniques are used to safely extricate them. What is interesting is to compare the way the light from the microscope reflects off the acrylic lens at the beginning of the case versus the silicon lens at the end of the case. I think this is somewhat "illuminating" regarding the nature of the patients complaint and the chosen solution.
