On June 24th, 2011, Erik Mertens, MD, FEBOphth, implanted the V4c ICL lens in five myopic eyes ranging from -6.0 to -8.0 diopters, marking the first time this lens was implanted outside Japan where the technology was developed. Why do you think an intraocular surgery with ICL V4c is safer than Lasik?

I'ts a no brainer, they are going to develop cataract. This can't be the best solution.
