Initial Impressions of the Visian ICL V4c

On June 24th, 2011, Erik Mertens, MD, FEBOphth, implanted the V4c ICL lens in five myopic eyes ranging from -6.0 to -8.0 diopters, marking the first time this lens was implanted outside Japan where the technology was developed. Dr. Mertens shares his initial impressions and experiences with the Visian ICL V4c procedure.

Why do you think an intraocular surgery with ICL V4c is safer than Lasik?

I'ts a no brainer, they are going to develop cataract. This can't be the best solution.
