Since I load the IOL in a "reverse-fold" fashion, the optic unrolls with a concave surface facing the posterior capsule which can trap viscelastic agent. Therefore tapping the optic does not typically work well. Recommend a cohesive VEA to ease removal also.

bimanuel I/A is great modality for small pupils
