Ab Interno Canaloplasty ABIC Trabecular Meshwork Pull-Down Technique

Show Description +

This video shows my method for easy access to Schlemm Canal. Specifically, I use a needle directed at the superior aspect of pigmented trabecular meshwork and gently apply downward pressure. This allows one to access the canal without the tissue damage and the heme associated with incising trabecular meshwork. In this video, I am priming the eye for cannulation using the Ellex iTrack Catheter (NFI). However, this technique applies to any canal-based surgery, including the OMNI, Hydrus, etc.
