This case demonstrates my first case using the iStent inject (Glaukos) with the goal of demonstrating the short learning curve of this MIGS device. The patient in this case was undergoing FLACS and had moderate POAG while on two drops. The patient's IOP went from 22mmHg on two IOP lowering medications to 17mmHG on zero drops at week one. Highlighted here is the importance of being perpendicular and orthogonal with the trabecular meshwork, avoiding trocar bias, and dimpling down to ensure optimal placement into the canal.
