M. Yahya Neama, MD, FRCS, explains the step-by-step surgical management of keratoglobus. After performing a 360 degree peritomy, the surgeon gently debrides epithelial cells. A donor cornea with 5-mm of scleral rim is anchored to the scleral bed. Six months after this surgery, one can perform PKP.
