This video describes a differentiated approach in the aspiration of cortical remnants, after the end of phacoemulsification using a continuous circular one step cortical aspiration. The images compare the zonular tension during cortical aspiration radially (toward the center) and tangential. As a result, the images suggest that suction can promote a tangential vector resultant voltage on the zonules smaller than the radial suction conventional.
