In this patient with 8 RK incisions, I straddled the space between the incisions with a 2.2mm wound for cataract removal and lens implantation. Hydrodissection was used due to a softer crystalline lens. As stromal hydration does not work well in these cases due to the hydration stopping at the delineations of the RK incisions, I used the ReSure Sealant to close the wound and paracentesis port.
