Dr. Sebastien Guigou presents a new technique in the treatment of post-traumatic lens expulsion and aphakia. A 9 years-old boy was bitten by a dog a suffered a large scleral wound, subluxated lens and retinal detachment. During the first line surgery we performed pars plana phacoemulsification, vitrectomy and laser. Then we used a Carlevale anchored scleral lens which goes through 2.2mm corneal incision.
