Channels: Cataract Surgery | Posted 5/13/2015

This video from I. Paul Singh, MD, depicts an endoscopic view of standard phacoemulsification with the Stellaris Vision Enhancement System (Bausch & Lomb). An endoscope (Beaver-Visitec International) was inserted superior nasally through a 2 mm clear corneal incision by an assistant and was pointed temporally while the surgeon performs standard micro incisional cataract surgery. The video demonstrates the behavior of the lens during phaco and I&A as well as the anterior chamber.
