A 49-year-old man presented with cataracts 15 years after receiving a Verisyse phakic IOL (Johnson & Johnson Vision) in each eye. Laser cataract surgery was performed in an effort to minimize endothelial cell loss, and the phakic IOL was disenclavated and explanted. A three-piece SofPort lens (Bausch + Lomb) was implanted.
