Suturing an Iris Device in the Open Sky

Nicole Fram, MD, shows placement of a custom artificial iris (HumanOptics) through the open sky in a patient with a ruptured globe. The artificial iris is sutured to the back side of a CZ70BD lens (Alcon) and gore-tex sutures are threaded though the IOL eyelets.
