In this case, Dr. Robert Osher suspects a peripheral tear in the capsule. Healon 5 tamponade the vitreous and facilitates visualization of posterior capsule. A dry vitrectomy without infusion at a high cutting speed and low vacuum. Two other cases in which vitreous is noted following IOL placement are also presented.
