Argentina Flag Sign

Show Description +

White cataracts present a challenge during the capsulorhexis due to the limited visualization. Several techniques and stains, like trypan blue, were developed to assist in the capsulotomy. However, using low dispersive OVDs in white cataract cases may raise the Argentinean Flag Sign. The surgeon explains how to manage and avoid this dreaded complication.
