Samuel Pallin MD
Show Description +
Dr. Pallin looks at the ciliary zonular/capsular structure during cataract surgery from the posterior perspective of a cadaver eye. The phaco tip inadvertently punctures the posterior capsule, yet the capsular bag remains intact which Dr. Pallin attributes to the strength of the zonular-capsular basket.
