Retina Today Journal Club moderators Jonathan Prenner, MD, and Richard Kaiser, MD, invited Gaurav K. Shah, MD, Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

Dr. Shah, an expert in macula surgery, investigated the role of face-down positioning after macular hold surgery. He concludes that the method resulted in minimal complications, in addition to significant improvement in visual acuity.
