Mature cataract with zonular dialysis during phaco

The patient in this case had a history of macular degeneration and was also discovered to be pseudoexfoliative. The biaxial approach made it possible to hold the lens in the anterior chamber while it was removed.

i think hard rocks, pseudoexfoliation and faco of any kind are not the best way to resolve the problem, the extracapsular surgery is my choice in that case, but thanks for this example.
