Aristomenis Thanos, MD, presents a challenging case in which a 30-year-old woman was involved in a traumatic motor vehicle accident resulting in bilateral globe ruptures. A dense vitreous hemorrhage made visualization of anatomic landmarks in the eye challenging. He walks through his approach to the case, including limbal lensectomy, pars plana vitrectomy, removal of uveal pigment, and the management of retinal incarceration with retinectomy.
