Lejla Vajzovic, MD, shares results from an animal study on intraoperative microscope-integrated optical coherence tomography (OCT) for guidance in subretinal therapeutic delivery. Dr. Vajzovic explains that the study had two goals: to assess whether intraoperative 4-D microscope-integrated OCT visualizes subretinal complications in real time, and to evaluate the benefits of such technology when delivering subretinal therapy.
