Acute Ocriplasmin Retinopathy

Mark Johnson, MD, joins Tim Murray, MD, MBA, to discuss manifestations of acute ocriplasmin retinopathy. Dr. Johnson says there have been numerous reports of patients who present with a range of abnormalities after ocriplasmin injection, including severe loss of vision, enlargement of macular holes, and dislocation of lenses. He explains what could be causing these abnormalities, and warns that physicians should use ocriplasmin injections with caution.
