The first mistake in this case was draining subretinal fluid in a dialysis. These cases are very easily treated by cryotherapy and a scleral Buckle and no drainage. By draining the fluid and ending up with an incarcerated retina, an extremely complicated case was created when it could’ve been a much simpler operation.
