Using a small gauge needle with irrigation with bss inferiorly and slight press on posterior lip of small limba entrance is enough to remove all silicone in AC and pars plana canula is needed only if silicone present in vitreous cavity

Placing one of the 25 gauge cannulas through a limbal incision into the AC could have made removal of silicone oil from AC easier without the need for Healon

please reply how do you manage the inflammation and IOP increase caused by the residual healon.If any attempt to wash AC is made the oil will again come into AC

Thank you for your comment. We removed all the oil from the eye. The Oil in the AC was the last drop. Healing is then washed out from the AC using BSS.
