Capsulorhexis size has become more important as cataract surgery has evolved into a refractive surgery. Dr. Tal Raviv demonstrates the use of the Raviv Capsulorhexis Caliper (Bausch + Lomb Storz Ophthalmic Instruments). The blunt tip of the instrument indent the capsule to serve as a visual markers.

its not always accurate due to parallax of 3-4 mm between corneal marking and lens capsule.slight turning of eye off the axis can induce it
