ILM Tear-and-Lift Technique for Macular Holes With Nonexpansive SF6 Gas

Show Description +

Macular hole surgery is made easier with this technique, where we start with an internal limiting membrane (ILM) tear before lifting the ILM around the hole, but in different clockwise directions. Brilliant blue is very good and stains the membrane very well. With nonexpansive gas, the hole closes in less than a week.
