Thanks for the presentation, I was taught by ENT surgeons not to in-fracture the middle turbinate as there is a small risk of CSF leak. They advised to pack under the mid turbinate under endoscopic view with either cocaine solution or co- phenylcaine solution. I do that and the space created by shrinkage of nasal mucosa is plenty to carry out DCR comfortably.
