Omar Barrada, MD, presents a traumatic cataract and dense vitreous hemorrhage due to a perforating trauma by a gunshot. After performing the primary repair of the corneal wound, Dr. Barrada executes vitrectomy and a pars plana lensectomy through the scarred cornea. In the middle of surgery, he found and removed a piece of glass impacted in the vitreous.
