Fish Tail Technique

Brian Little, MD, and Romesh Angunawela, MD, present one of the first executions of the Fish Tail Technique, an alternative to CTR injection if the leading haptic snags against the capsular bag. In this case, the iris of 93 year old female is so floppy from diffuse zonular loss that the posterior capsule has prolapsed over the ridge of the capsulorhexis.
