Surgery for Normal-Pressure Glaucoma: Is There a Role for MIGS Before Filtering Surgery?

Show Description +

Leonard K. Seibold, MD, discusses the role of microinvasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) in treating patients with normal-pressure glaucoma. It is a challenging population to treat, due to patients' low starting IOP and, thus, low target IOP. Dr. Seibold poses the question of whether surgeons should consider MIGS for these patients and weighs in on when it might be the right approach.
