Using the Daya Disruptor for CXL
Sheraz M. Daya, MD, FACP, FACS, FRCS, FRCOphth, demonstrates a corneal cross-linking (CXL) procedure with the Daya Disruptor (Duckworth & Kent). Daya Disruptor creates pockmarks in the epithelium through which the Riboflavin can pass through and directly onto the cornea. The primary goal is to maintain as much live epithelium while promoting riboflavin penetration.
