The Sandwich Phaco Technique

Ming Chen, MD, carefully makes a 6.5-7mm capsulorhexis and performs hydrodissection. Then Dr. Chen injects VISCOAT (Alcon) behind the nucleus and uses the cannula to lift it into the supra nuclear position. The nucleus is sandwiched between OVD protecting the posterior capsule and corneal endothelium, hence the name of "Sandwich Phaco Technique."

О, давно пора комменты в русскоязычные перевести. Кроме шуток,вообще не понимаю, к чему такой диаметр. Помимо вышесказанного, будет масса других проблем.

Слишком большой капсулорексис необходим при такой методике. Возможен разрыв рексиса.
