Ronald Yeoh, MD, describes the "pupil snap" sign which signals posterior capsular rupture during hydrodissection. He shares several cases in which hydrodissection was performed when the anterior chamber is a closed system. The "pupil snap" sign is a sign a hydro rupture of the posterior capsule and occurs when the fluid wave is obstructed by cortical adhesions.
