This megalocornea case demonstrates posterior continuous curvilinear capsulorhexis (CCC) to remove a fibrotic plaque. Howard Gimbel, MD, demonstrates the use of a self-made cystotome to open the PCCC with a small snag rather than a puncture, which can be helpful in cases of vitreous loss.
