Matthew Rauen Des, MD, shares the case of a child who presented almost 1-week after eye trauma with poor vision and pain. We identified a full thickness cornea laceration with traumatic cataract. Lens material and iris were incorporated into the cornea laceration. Cataract surgery and cornea repair were completed. IOL calculations were guided by studies on the fellow eye.
