Glued Iris Prosthesis

In this presentation from Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital and Eye Research Centre, the patient presents with superiorly subluxated lens, aniridia, and glaucoma. In this combined procedure, two limbal-based scleral flaps are made 180 degrees apart to secure the haptics of the glued lens. A special aniridia IOL with haptic eyelets for suturing is implanted in the anterior chamber, then the haptics are secured in the with fibrin glue. A trabeculectomy with punch is performed.

you are so brave to leave İOL like that. what if the patient has a trauma to the eye? Also postoperavite the İOL is not well centralised.

Good surgery!, I'm really liking the intraescleral IOL fixation for cases without capsular support
