Dr. Anthone uses the Anthone Enabler (Accutome, Malvern, PA) to stack the two halves of nucleus on top of each other to facilitate phaco safely away from the posterior capsule. He concludes the case by implanting an IOL.

It need larged capsulorhexis.
I agree with above. The more dense the lens the more pieces you should divide it into. This technique is ok for soft lenses but not dense.
I wonder how much time, and US power, this technique needs to remove a hard nucleus lens
no better than divide and conquer. each quadrant keeps the posterior capsule away from the needle.
