Canaloplasty
Canaloplasty combined with cataract surgery can be extremely beneficial for glaucoma patients with cataracts. Following cataract extraction in this ophthalmic surgical video, Dr. Steven Vold makes scleral flap to expose Schlemm's canal and Descemet's membrane and the iTrack catheter (iScience Interventional) is inserted in Schlemm's canal and threaded around for 360 degrees. As the iTrack is retracted, a suture is drawn through the canal while Healon GV is injected to dilate the canal.

excellent surgery Dr.Steven, Great thanks!
No closure of the scleral flap + no cautery + no conjunctival mattress suture = 20 minute canaloplasty!!! Great video, Steve!
