Apr 2008 | Grande Hotel & Yacht Club | Ft Lauderdale, FL

Emerging Data to Guide Clinical Decisions This educational meeting addressed the use of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) inhibitors, particularly ranibizumab, for treating neovascular age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The presenters discussed recent clinical trial findings, drug safety, cost, and dose frequency. A better understanding of the disease state and current and future management options is critical for practitioners to effectively treat patients who suffer from AMD.
