Descemet's Cleavage
A surgeon unknowingly injects viscoelastic agent into the cornea, cleaving the entire Descemet's membrane from the stroma. Following ECCE and IOL implantation, an air bubble is injected in an attempt to reattach the membrane but the cornea never clears.
